Terms & Conditions

One Touch Auto Detailing

Payment Terms Policy:

Forms of payment accepted are Eftpos, Credit Card*, Bank Transfer and Cash.

*Credit Card payments occur a surcharge of 3%.

All prices quoted and listed on the website are including goods and services tax.

 

Unless otherwise stated on the invoice, payment is due on the same day of service, willing we offer 3 business days for the payment to be paid in full.

If payment is not made within 3 business days, OTAD may charge interest on the overdue amount calculated on a daily basis of 5% from the due date until actual payment is made.

OTAD will employ a third party debt collection agency. Should payment not be made or no communication from the client, the overdue debt will be recovered through said third party agency. And you will also be liable to pay all expenses and costs (including legal costs between solicitor and client) in relation to the recovery or attempted recovery of any overdue amount.

 

Deposit Terms Policy:
OTAD may choose to charge a deposit to secure a booking confirmation. This will be invoiced separately and will consist of a percentage of the overall service booked. Non payment of this deposit invoice will result in booking cancellation. Deposits are non-refundable or interchangeable with any other 
service.  

 

Cancellation Policy:

We ask that if you must cancel or reschedule an appointment, you please provide us with at least 24 hour notice. This way, we will be able to accommodate other clients and those who are on our waiting list.

We do understand that unavoidable issues do occur and we will do our best to work with you in case of an emergency. 
 

Here is our general breakdown of cancellation fees:

- Less than 1 day notice will result in a charge equal to a minimum of 50% of reserved appointment(s).

- Last-minute or 'No Shows' cancellations will be charged a cancellation fee of 100% of the quoted amount. 

- If an appointment is rescheduled more than 2 times you will be asked to pay a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure the booking.

Vehicle Services and Packages Policy:

OTAD reserves the right to refuse service. 

Unless otherwise arranged and agreed upon prior, the services listed are the ones that will be performed for each package or service selected.

Unless otherwise arranged and agreed prior, OTAD will not clean closed interior pockets (such as the glove box and centre console, armrest pockets, and seat back pockets if fitted). This is due to client privacy.

It is advised all personal belongings are to be removed by the client prior to detailing the vehicle, this includes face masks, bags, car seats, or any other type of personal belonging. If required to remove such items there may be additional charges. 

Pet hair or heavily soiled vehicle/s will occur an additional charge for removal or until removal (if not discussed prior)

Quoted amounts in some cases may be subject to change depending on the condition of the vehicle, some areas may require extra attention and labour, additional charges may apply. As per customer approval.

Interior shampooing - Not all stains can be 100% removed due to the nature and age of the stain and can sometimes only be minimised not eliminated.

If mobile service is requested, the individual authorises One Touch Auto Detailing to use power and water on site. Through to the completion of the job. Otherwise, the job can not be completed. The individual may be charged a "Last Minute" cancellation fee on arrival if supplies are not met.

COVID-19 Terms and Condition Policy: 

All masks are to be removed from the vehicle prior to OTAD detailing the vehicle, as it is a close contact of personal bacteria and belonging, and any other additional personal item to be removed by yourself before the job is carried out.

Please be sure to sign in on-premise/location before the vehicle begins its detail, for contact tracing.

 

Headlight Lens Restore Terms and Conditions Policy:

As per each vehicle make model and the different types of acrylic lenses fitted to the vehicle by the manufacturer OTAD can't offer a set term warranty on headlight lens restoration. We cannot guarantee an exact day/estimation of the longevity of the restored headlight lens. The factor of where the vehicle is parked and stored i.g. Sunlight exposure is to be taken into consideration and the nature of how the vehicle is cared for by its owner. *Headlight restorations previously done by One Touch Auto Detailing have lasted anywhere from 2-3 years to give you an idea of what protection you can get from our headlight lense service.

 

Vehicle Collection (If drop/off service is selected) & Other Terms and Conditions Policy:

Unless otherwise organised prior, vehicle collection from OTAD is due on the same day as the completion of the service ("due date"). If collection is not made on the due date, OTAD may charge storage fees calculated on a daily basis from the due date until the actual collection. Due to workflow and ensuring the absolute best quality levels are upheld for our clients, vehicle pickups are to be arranged with OTAD during business hours.

Mon-Fri 9am-6pm 

Sat Closed 

Sun 10am-3pm

Your desired collection time must be arranged with One Touch Auto Detailing to ensure we have your vehicle ready.

Should you wish to pick up your vehicle outside of these hours, this must also be arranged with OTAD

One Touch Auto Detailing is not liable for any pre-existing damage or damage caused by natural disasters, break-ins, theft, or damage/accidents caused to your vehicle by One Touch Auto Detailing in our possession. In most cases before and after images do be taken prior to having a job carried out.

Paint Protection Film Specific Terms of Service:
Please note, any current stone chips on the areas we apply film may in fact become more obvious after application due to uneven surface under the film. Please note also that the application of Paint Protection Film does involve removing & applying film multiple times which can cause stress to paintwork. Whilst One Touch Auto Detailing ensures the highest level of care when applying the film, there is always a risk of paintwork lifting (separating the clear coat from the base layer). Should the paintwork not be original (i.e. if there has been a respray on the vehicle) there is a much higher chance of paint lifting. This is unfortunately a risk of the job being undertaken and not something we can cover. To lessen this risk, we will always assess the vehicle prior to commencing work. All work is undertaken with the understanding our clients are happy to accept these risks & associated responsibility for damages.

Before/After Pictures. - During your booking with us. We capture before and after pictures for our social platforms to showcase other clients the types of work and services we offer. These pictures will be used only for our showcase to display what results other clients can achieve via our Facebook, Instagram, and Ads Platforms for marketing purposes. In some cases, your license plate can be captured in these images, in most cases we try our best to crop them out for your privacy, if they are in any photo of ours please contact us so we can edit your post.

How We Use Information

We do not share the information you provide about yourself with any other individual or outside parties. 

We may use your e-mail address or phone number to communicate with you, for example, to notify you of special offers or services you might find of interest.

​We will never sell your personal information to any other company. 

In the event of a criminal investigation or a suspected illegal activity, we may be required by law enforcement agencies to share certain personal information.
