Application & Preparation
Each vehicle is assessed individually, and the glass is prepared using an industry grade cleaning and surface preparation process designed to remove residues and ensure proper bonding of the coating.
Preparation methods may vary depending on the condition of the glass. Where the glass is already clean and free of contamination, a dedicated chemical preparation process is used. Where contamination such as water spotting, mineral deposits, or staining is present, additional preparation or machine polishing may be required at the clients request. $POA.
Performance Expectations
This coating is designed to create strong hydrophobic behaviour (water beading and sheeting). Performance can vary depending on driving speed, weather conditions, and ongoing maintenance. Water may not always immediately run off the glass while stationary but will perform as intended under normal driving conditions.
Additional Preparation (If Required)
This service includes standard glass preparation only, IPA wipe down followed by the coating applied.
If your vehicle’s glass has heavy water spotting, mineral buildup, or other imperfections that require removal prior to coating, a glass polishing / advanced preparation surcharge will apply $POA. This can be added to your booking or confirmed on the day upon your approval.
Maintenance
To ensure maximum longevity and performance, periodic maintenance is recommended throughout the life of the coating.
